I am a very laid-back, Frigiluana to earth kind of boy who is in need of some sensual fun. We made eye contact a few times, well, at least you caught he staring at your chest a few times as we passed by. I don't smell like cheese or dirty socks. Should be feminine, Women of Frigiliana Frigiliana, and kind hearted.

Everytime we showered the floor flooded. The breakfast was fine fresh fruit, yogurt, bread and natural yoghurt. But did get repetitive, So brought our own eggs to cook. Roof terrace lovely but could get a little over crowded at times. Outside terrace is lovely too, but also can be cramped when having breakfast.
Also when sitting outside on the terrace we felt we had to whisper. As having spoken to other quests we were under the impression that sound traveled fast around the other rooms. Madisol and Patty were fantastic and a credit to Millers. Nothing to much trouble, always on hand to help. Always greated us with a smile. Thank you for your review. We are working on more storage space for longer stays at Miller's. Thank you for your comments which we will take on board to help us improve as we are very new.
There are many good points about this hotel, however, I am afraid unless some of the very simple design issues are sorted, I am afraid we would not return. The first which is mentioned by many, is the lack of storage space. This is not just a couple of rooms, but everyone we spoke to experienced the same. We literally had 4 hooks on a wall, and a couple of very narrow drawers. The other complaint I heard on a number of occasions was the lack of space to place toiletries near to the sink in the bathroom.
Again, surely this is a must have? With regards to bathrooms, we had to ask for toilet rolls on at least 3 occasions during our stay. I am assuming from another vacated room? Our first impression of breakfast was fantastic, however, halfway through the stay it became apparent that it was going to the "same old thing" day after day.
Admittedly it was well prepared, however, surely you do not expect 1 euro ham as part of an upmarket boutique hotel breakfast? To add a little bit of variety, it would not be too much trouble to provide some boiled or scrambled eggs every other day? The other major issue, was the design of the breakfast seating area.
This doubled up as the communal area for evening drinks. Although tastefully decorated, the noise, no matter how quiet you were, echoed upwards, and you felt you literally had to whisper so not disturb other guests. On the plus side, Marisol and Patty were absolutely fantastic, and could not do enough for you. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were very keen to ensure we had a fantastic stay. The honesty bar was a nice touch, and the drinks were very reasonably priced.
The upstairs terrace, which included a hot tub, sun loungers and seating area was also a welcome addition. Overall, the hotel itself has been renovated extremely well, however, when I am on holiday, I am on holiday.
I want to relax and unpack, not live out of a suitcase. As I said, unless these issues are resolved, I am afraid we will try the other boutique hotels that seem to be popping up in Frigiliana. Thank you for your comments. This is our first season so we are working on more storage space for toiletries and more clothes storage for customers who stay more than a few days. I appreciate your comments and am presently altering this for future convenience.
At first glance Miller's is a pretty hotel, but there are some fundamental problems with the accommodation. I shall stat with the worst aspects. Our room was on the ground floor with a glazed door and two windows which led on to an atrium, which could be noisy late at night. There were no blinds to block out the light. Storage space in the bedroom was inadequate. There was an old chest of four drawers with only one functional, the others either stuck, or used for hotel storage.
Hanging space was very limited and consisted of four small pegs on the wall and a few hangers with only room for three shirts and a jacket. Being above some sort of box shelf, the hanging space was not even full length. The bathroom, which looked attractive with modern fixtures and a rain shower, offered little privacy. Although there was a largish shelf underneath the two washbasins there was nowhere handy to store toiletries.
The only towel rail was very small There was a large notice on the bedroom door informing us that if we left the air conditioning on whist the room was unoccupied we would incur a charge of 20 euros. A similar diktat was contained in the hotel information sheet. This one was about stains on towels I would not have minded being reminded to switch off the aircon and take care when using the towels, but really! On the positive side the breakfasts were very good and plentiful. The staff, Patti and Marisol, were lovely and very helpful.
The hotel is on the main street in the old town of Frigilliana and very convenient. It is very pretty to look at and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the room was kept clean. The common parts were also tastefully decorated and well furnished.
There was a well stocked mini bar with an honesty box, which was a nice touch. There is a roof terrace and also jacuzzi, which we could have used if we had been instructed how, but we didn't ask. We were tempted by an offer to stay at Miller's through 'Secret Escapes' and were not disappointed in any way. Tanya, Damian and Miranda couldn't have been more welcoming.
Fabulous restaurants with magnificent views. We will return next spring to do some of the walks recommended by Tanya and to visit the Alhambra palace. Thank you for taking to time to write a complimentary review, it is Always appreciated so much as we strive to make the perfect relaxing getaway. I have passed on your compliments and hope to see you in the near future, Tanya. The bed is comfy and the amenities provided are great.
The hostress seems friendly BUT we almost missed our bus from Nerja to Granada because she has forgotten to call a taxi for us despite our request the day before! She didn't show up until the very last minute that we must check out and when we realised that she must have forgotten our request AND we must find our way out. We rushed down to the town's taxi station in reliance of her promise that she would now call and make sure that there would be a taxi for us.
They managed to trace her last known movements on the morning of June 17 to the village of Frigiliana, a popular setting off point for excursions into the Sierra Almijara Natural Park. Details of the missing 19 days are still sketchy but a friend of the family told the Daily Telegraph that she had become lost in the mountains after straying off the path. He described the moment that a call came through from Spain confirming Mrs Goossens had been found alive.
He added that they were looking forward to hearing the details of her ordeal. We even considered that she had just disappeared of her own volition to start a new life somewhere but dismissed that as impossible. Speaking just before take-off her son Fritz Horten said: A group of three climbers had spotted Mrs Goossens early Wednesday morning while they were walking along the banks of the Chillar river.
Unable to rescue her themselves they alerted mountain rescue services who used a helicopter to reach her. The best way to transfer money overseas. Accessibility links Skip to article Skip to navigation.
