PrenticeHall, Estimation of the shape and scale parameters of exponentiated exponential distribution is considered based on simple random sample and ranked set sample. Bayesian method of estimation under squared error loss function and maximum likelihood method will be used. Comparison between estimators is made through simulation via their absolute relative biases, mean square errors, and efficiencies. Comparison study revealed that the Bayes estimator is better than maximum likelihood estimator under both sampling schemes.
The results show that the estimators based on ranked set sample are more efficient than that from simple random sample at the same sample size. Purpose of a motor speed controller is to take a signal representing the required speed and to drive a motor at that speed. Industrial applications use dc motors because the speed-torque relationship can be varied to almost any useful form for both dc motor and regeneration applications in either direction of rotation. DC motors feature a speed, which can be controlled smoothly down to zero, immediately followed by acceleration in the opposite direction without power circuit switching.
Having intelligence PC available to control operation of speed of motor which can increase productivity in broad range of industry. The aim of digital watermarking is to include subliminal information in multimedia information to ensure a security service or simply a labelling application.
It would be then possible to recover the embedded message at any time, even if the information was altered by one or more non-destructive attacks, whether malicious or not.
Its commercial applications range from copyright protection to digital right management. This paper then classifies the different watermarking techniques into several categories depending upon the domain in which the hidden data is inserted; the size of the hidden data and the requirement of which the hidden data is to be extracted, An experiment is conducted to further tests the robustness of some of these techniques. I am one who has enjoyed life to the fullest, from the farm where I was born and raised, to the city of Dubuque where my journey has now been completed. I have been so blessed by being able to do and enjoy so many things in life that so many other people only wish they had the opportunity to have done.
I hope everyone will realize how good life can be and make the most of it while they can. I want to thank each and every one of you for your love, friendship and understanding. He took his switch hitting and lefty pitching prowess to Loras College in Dubuque, IA, and briefly considered playing professional baseball with an offer from the Chicago Cubs farm club network in He graduated from Loras with a BA in Business in Bob was then drafted into the Army in June of and devoted 2 years of his life supporting the Korean conflict as an X-ray technician primarily at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.
Upon returning to Iowa, Bob began his work career with Interstate Finance of Dubuque for several years. They were married at St. Joseph's Parish in the small town of Farley, Ia.
And smart man that he was, they remained married until the day of his passing! Coming from a long line of entrepreneurs, Bob eventually left his job at Interstate and embarked upon a 42 year adventure as a family run business owner.
Doing much of the labor himself, he initially developed and ran a 42 unit mobile home park and sales lot just outside of Dubuque. He served as the president of the State Association, and won many honors within the manufactured home community which led to many fun national and international trip awards for him and his lovely wife Jane.
He also broadened his business base by diverging into other arenas including furniture stores, partnerships in several restaurants, development of the Colonial Estates residential community, and a Casey's General Store in Asbury, IA.
As the manufactured home business tended to be seasonal, Bob was able to leave his businesses in the capable hands of his manager and perform executive duties remotely while he and Jane started their over 40 year adventure in the Phoenix area. They discovered this beautiful paradise along with scores of their Midwestern neighbors!
They fell in love with the Rio Verde environment and people and devoted increasingly longer yearly periods living there and eventually chose to be there full time. Bob had many friends in Rio Verde over the years and loved to good naturedly rib them on the golf course and tennis court, especially with his many wins in the lefty golf tournaments!
He and his buddies also enjoyed the wonderful outdoor opportunities in the area including fishing at San Carlos Lake and in the White Mountain wilderness. For many years living the good life in Rio Verde entailed long drives from Iowa for the "winter season. The outpouring of love from friends and family, and beloved Rio Verde "expanded family" for Bob after news of his passing has truly been remarkable.
Bob was known to many and loved by all. He was famous for his friendly demeanor and propensity to visit with anyone he meets. And of course the legendary Ferring humor was on display at all times. You knew that you were really "in" with Bob when he gave you a hard time And when he was not in the company of his buddies doing his usual competition thing, he could be found in the companionship of wife Jane, the love of his life for 64 years. A true lifelong demonstration of love and commitment.

The unit we ended up with was great. The outrigger people were a joy to deal with. I just can't find anything to complain about! Thank you for your help. Everyone had a wonderful time; no-one wanted to come home. As soon as I determine our dates for next year, I'll get in touch with you so we can start watching for good airfares. As far as comments - You and your firm are my first choice for arranging travel to the islands.
I've always felt that we've received prompt, patient service, in spite of sometimes numerous inquiries and indecision on our part as to selecting the most current offerings. Thank you for your consistent great service! It was definitely about out expectations. It had to be the perfect location for all that attended the wedding.
All the children loved the beautiful new pool. There were many hours spent in it by all. Beautifully kept gardens, overall just spectacular. We would definitely stay there on our next visit. Have passed your name on to a couple of friends. We had a great vacation - great! The Outrigger was extremely nice.
The location was just perfect. They responded very quickly to any requests we had a fan not working, housekeeping not doing a full service We would definately stay there again.
In fact, my mom is already wanting to book for next year! We had a wonderful time in Kauai!! The accommodations at the Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation in Poipu were very nice and roomy for a family of 5. Very clean and everything in it seemed to be brand new. The gardens were beautiful and we didn't mind being in a garden view because it was so near to the beach anyway, and a significant savings for us. Our experience with you and your company was very good and simple- you were thorough, patient, and helpful - we would recommend GHV and definitely use you again.
We will be planning another trip in the future just for the two of us to relax. Maybe now we qualify for a Buy One Get One deal!! We thought we would relax more on this trip, but ended up doing a lot of activities which were fun, but kept us hopping! Daniel, I am so glad you e-mailed me as on the flight back I couldn't help but think of you and hoped that I would remember to send my sincere thank you for an absolutly fabulous vacation and 40th Anniversary celebration for my husband and I!
Our stay on Maui in the Napili Kia was so good that we could only hope that Kaui would be as nice. I am so delighted that you encouraged our staying at the Kiahuna Plantation Outrigger. It was perfect and being flowers lovers, I so much enjoyed the Plummeria tree next to our porch. I had fresh flowers daily!
If it wasn't for children, grandchildren and friends in Va. Beach, I would have wanted to never leave. Truly the accommodations and people could not have been nicer for us! Again thank you so very much for all your help. What a wonderful time we had at the Sheraton on Kauai, and we even got upgraded to a fabulous room right in front of the ocean, which was SO appreciated!
I also found the Sheraton to be a very well-run, spotlessly clean and laid-back resort. And I would definitely recommend your services to all of my friends.
Thanks so very much, Patti, for making it so special! Many thanks to Adam Reynolds for his help in planning this trip. Everything went flawlessly from the car rental to check-out. Hawaii is our favorite place on earth and we hope to return next summer to Maui or the Big Island! My husband and I love the Mauna Lani and have been coming here for many years.
This is our third time in the Mauna Lani Point Condos. Our particular unit-B had a problem with its ice maker in the refrigerator. We had a nice ocean view, but next time would like a "sunset view" which we have had in the past-which was heavenly.
Thank you so much for helping out with our recent Lanai trip. Everything was perfect and we were upgraded to a very nice room as you said you might be able to do. We had a perfect 15th Wedding Anniversary trip and would highly recommend your services to anyone going to Hawaii. In fact, we met a couple at the Four Seasons and I referred them to you and "Great Hawaii Vacations" for their future Hawaii trip plans.
We are still contemplating an August return. We'll keep you posted. We had a wonderful vacation at the Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort. Our suite was perfect, well outfitted and the location was ideal. We can only hope you will be able to get us the same suite next time we decide to go there! We had a great time, our accommodation were great,I would give them a 5,star and everyone was very help full with all our needs.
Looking forward to going back in the near future, and thank you for all your help, look forward to talking to you again, when we are ready to go. Thanks for all your help in making our trip to Maui very special.
We had a great place to stay at the "Wailea Palms". We also enjoyed the golf, the road to Hana, the Whale Watching, the Luau and all other things that you set up for us. This year, it seemed our tickets and seat assignments etc. Also appreciated your changing from Dollar to Hertz for our rental car.
When we got there it was clear that the "additional driver" option was cheaper. Not sure why GHV did that switch but it worked out well for us. We will not be needing the screen saver. We were able to fly home First Class using our miles to upgrade! We never can use the miles when we try to book something ourselves. Kavan --thanks for the opportunity to let you know via email that ALL the accomodations you arranged on both islands were ideally located for the wedding, perfect for stay, and contributed greatly to the success of my daughter's wedding plans.
In addition to the great accommodations, thank you so much for taking the time before the trip to help guide me in the right direction. What this boils down to is that the trip would not have been such a positive experience without your help. Send me an update if you decide to change locations.
It was an awesome trip. Your selection of hotel was right on. If you get up to Montreal let us know. We will be glad to show you a bit our great city. Yes, Maui was great. We loved the Sheraton. They gave us two great rooms on the third floor with a great view of the ocean and pool area. And the buffet breakfast tthat was included in our package was fabulous.
On days that we were leaving early to do sight seeing they gave us to go boxes to fill up with breakfast goodies and coffee to go. The people at the Sheraton were so nice. We plan on returning next year around the same time and will give you a call then so you can help book our vacation. Thank you for suggesting the Sheraton Maui. We all loved it and there were 5 of us. We had a great time in Hawaii. It is truly a beautiful place.
We stayed at the Outrigger on the Beach and it was top notch. The only issue I had was the odor of fryer oil when we were on our balcony. It was from Duke's restaurant below. We were also pleased with the condo resort that we stayed in. The staff was very accommodating. Yes we did indeed enjoy our vacation in Hawaii. Thank you to the attentive GHV staff for their service, especially the day before we had to leave and needed documentation rushed through.
Would be happy to recommend your services to friends and family. We had a wonderful time. We plan to go to Hawaii again next year at approximately the same time. If at all possible we will try to fly directly to the site and avoid the inter island airlines as we had major delay here. I will put together an agenda and then call you next year. We have returned from our trip and had a good time. We found that the rooms in Oahu were very small. The Wyland was even smaller than Oahu Waikiki West however it was in better condition because of the renovations.
The Royal Lahaina in Maui was large and newly renovated and the grounds are lovely. We would definitely stay there again if we were looking for a hotel room and if the cottages are renovated we would stay in one on them.
The grounds at Royal Quest Poipu Kai were also beautiful and well kept and the location is great. The condo we were in was badly in need of renovation and cleaning. The renovations they have done at the Reef on the Beach are beautiful and overall we had a very nice time. Unfortunately, our room was at the front of the hotel directly across from the construction going on with the new Trump Tower building. There was a lot of noise throughout the day, normally starting around 7 am which was a bit disappointing.
We normally like to leave our patio door open when we are in the room but were unable to do so as the volumn from the construction was really loud. It normally woke us up in the morning but we usually found we could eventually get back to sleep. The service from Great Hawaii Vacations was excellent as usual. We'll be in touch next fall when we start looking at plans for I would like to thank you for your assistance with everything that was organized through Hawaii Vacations it was perfect.
Your service pre and post has been outstanding thank you once again. I look forward to recommending your business and working with you again in the future. Our holiday was all we wanted it to be. It was totally relaxing. We have stayed at the resort before, so we know it is good. Booking through you proved most satisfactory except we had to ring to make the booking. Your helpful service was much appreciated. We will probably be returning in the next 18 months or so. We might try staying somewhere on the big island next time, as well as our usual.
Thanks again, we will contact you next time. We had a great time and all went very smooth. Thanks for your continued assistance, and help with the accommodation selections. We will be contacting you for the next trips needs. Thanks for the screensaver. We had a wonderful time and the Mahana was a great place to stay. We appreciate how easy it was to check in and out and the accommodations were very nice. We would have liked a chain or dead lock on the door. All there was was the thumb lock in the middle of the handle.
Also some better pillows for the bed. The ones there were either HUGE, or flat-nothing inbetween. The Whales entertained us as we sat on our lanai. It was wonderful to be able to see them so well. Hope to talk to you again next year. As always, our trip went very well. Actually the part you planned for us did, while the car and the other accommodation were fine, but I'm inclined to use you going forward.
Hawaii is an important trip for us and we want to find ways to keep making it possible to go! Our only complaint is that the mattress in the master bedroom of our unit sags and is pretty uncomfortable. Otherwise, we love the location and layout, the wireless internet access and new flatscreen TV! Thank you so much for all of your help in picking the perfect spot for us in Keihei. We had such a good time and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The condo was fabulous and very comfortable, we felt like we were in our own home.
The couple that came with us couldn't believe how perfect it all was. Thank you again and hope to deal with you again next year. Hawaii is my favorite place to visit and maybe we may find that we love it so that we retire there.
Our vacation to Turtle Bay was terrific. Thanks to Great Hawaii Vacation, we were able to get a room with an otherwise filled to capacity hotel. They were hosting the LPGA and it was busy. We really had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for you help. The vacation was great. The accommodations were beautiful and all the amenities such as the pool etc were very clean and nice.
It is a bit of a noisy location but all the good qualities of the spot outweighed the noise. You and your company were a pleasure to deal with and there were no surprises or hiccups…. Thanks again and I would recommend Great Hawaii vacations to friends and colleagues. Thanks so much for helping us with our holiday!
We all had a great two weeks in paradise. The accommodation exceeded our expectations - we'd definitely stay at Maui Kamaole again. The condo was great - clean and well equipped with a very comfortable bed, lots of towels, a beautiful lanai were we ate most of our meals with a view to the ocean and lots of toys for the beach. We were very sad to leave and can't wait for our next holiday to Hawaii!!! We loved our trip You provided great value and we deeply appreciate your help.
I am just writing back to give you feedback about our trip to Kauai about a month ago. Everything was great and we will definitely be using Great Hawaii Vacations again. Our hotel was beautiful, the price was better than we would have paid had we booked ourselves, and there were no problems with the room, car, or any part of the package.
Thanks for your help booking our stay in Hawaii. It was everything you said it would be. The turtles were a big hit. I do appreciate your extra efforts to make sure our stay was wonderful.
My husband's parents were thrilled. We had an Awesome trip to Hawaii. Our accommodations were beyond our expectations. The Kaanapali Alii staff was so friendly, the grounds were nice, right on the beach, maid service was great, everything very clean.
We would definately go back and stay there again. The only dissappointment on the trip was having to come home. Thank you for setting this up for us we were very pleased. Aloha from San Diego, We had a great time in Kauai, I wish I would of booked an extra day or two longer 9 Next time, I will make this a 10 day vacation.
The Grand Hyatt was beautiful, the kids did not want to leave the resort!! Also, thanks for the referral to Barefoot Tours, we booked a zip line safari. Scott was really great to work with. We had a problem with backpacks for kids when we checked in and Scott was able to speak to the manager and we did get them on the last day. The outrigger Resort rooms were amazing however the workout room was really bad.
There was were 4 exercise bikes, 3 of which were recumbent, 2 of which did not work There are no other cardio machines. There is a weight system that only oneperson can use at a time.
So that was a dissappointment. The staff was vey friendly and the spa was nice We really enjoyed Kauai. Our unit, D, at the Maui Kamaole was nicely decorated and fully equipped.
The kitchen even had a blender for making those great frozen tropical drinks. We were pleasantly surprised to find boogie boards and beach towels there for our use. The washer and dryer came in handy since we stayed for 10 days. The lanais at Maui Kamaole are very private with beautiful vegetation.
The location at the south end of Kihei was very convenient to the airport, road to Hana, Iao needle, Haleakala, and had the best beaches. We didn't mind not being right on the beach since it was a very short walk across the road. The beaches in Kihei and in the Wailea are beautiful and many have great snorkeling right off the beach. Many thanks to Patti at Great Hawaii Vacations for making our first time in Hawaii a dream come true for us!! Our Maui vacation was wonderful and the condo 20 at Kahana Village made the trip!
I described what we wanred to Patty and she worked on it until she found the perfect place. We did not want high rise resort-- this unit was at the corner on the beach giving us gorgeous views. Our 6 yo grandson could go from pool to ocean right at our condo. The kitchen was very nice, so we ate breakfast and some dinners in. Everything went very smoothly and we credit Patty for that. I really appreciate the recognition.
We had a great trip. We were so happy to show my mom the island. We were very pleased with our accommodations especially the price and the response of CRH when our washing machine broke down mid-week.
We will definitely contact GHV next year when we plan our annual trip to Maui. Thankyou for your service. We enjoyed our vacation. The lockbox system for after hours arrival was a bit of a challenge late at night, in the dark without our glasses, luckily the night manager helped us - he was very nice. It was pleasant and a more relaxed stay for me to be able to go out on the lanai to have a cigarette rather than having to go outside each time.
We went to the morning orientation that they offer and that was a big help to us finding out all that the island has to offer. We as a family must thank you for the most wonderful stay in Hawaii. What a joy it was to sit on the lanai and watch our children swim in the sea.
Please pass this email on to your Manager you deserve credit. With thanks and best wishes for your future. I have to say that my vacation was everything I had hoped for. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast that was included was an amazing feast. I had a room that looked out at the ocean from the deck and I was on the 6th floor so I had a wonderful view of the sunsets and I fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night.
The turtles were right there in the water surrounding the hotel and I was able to walk to the snorkeling. They also had a free trolley that ran all day that took you to Longs and to a sandy beach then to downtown.
It ran on schedule so I could plan accordingly. I found a good tour guide and I saw some incredible places on the big island. Everything went off without a hitch so as nervous as I was picking an agency online I have to say I would do it all again and I may! Just to let you know, we had a great visit to Napili Point- we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom condo, very clean with a good view. Only downside the hot water kettle had not been cleaned out and smelled really bad. Thank you for your email. My holiday went well, had a great time but who wouldnt in Hawaii?
My thanks to your sales representative Patti Taylor who was very professional, courteous and helpful. Patti booked exactly my requirements in a quick, efficient manner and provided all the information I needed. Again, many thanks to Patti for a job well done. The vacation was beyond wonderful. Every aspect of our trip was perfect; from the flight, to the accommodations - it was a "perfect" vacation!
I will absolutely use your services again when booking my next trip. Thank you so very much!! We were very pleased on the accommodation, and all aspects of our booking. Somehow the night security guard was there when we drove up so we didn't even have to phone for someone to come for the late check in. Nice after a long trip. The office staff were very helpful and pleasant.
When we mentioned that the pull out couch was not useable for sleeping, the staff quickly gave us some futons for the kids. Great service all around. My wife and I are very pleased with the efforts made to make our Hawaii vacation a lifetime experience, such that my wife has asked me to look into a vacation to Hawaii in the future. Best vacation in 45 years of marriage. In sharing my Hawaii experiences with co-workers a few have requested information to contact Great Hawaii Vacations.
Thanks for the screensaver offer. We had a great time on Kauai and hope to be able to get back to the islands again soon. Everything went very well and we really enjoyed the Poipu condo. Thank you for the welcome home message. Our trip was very enjoyable, as expected. Great Hawaii Vacations provided a good package, for which we feel our expectations were met. This was the second time I've worked with Kavan and, as with the first time, he was always courteous and professional while providing answers to any and all questions and concerns.
I would definitely contact Kavan for my next trip and would recommend him to family and friends, without question.
Again we were very pleased with our Great Hawaii Vacations experience, although I do have a little "constructive criticism". I initiated contact and coordinated all of the reservations, yet the name that appeared on the car and hotel reservation paperwork was not me, which created some confusion until we realized the reservations were shown under the first name listed alphabetically.
Also, I believe your clients would appreciate being made aware of the hotel parking restrictions and related fees which amount to a substantial amount and a big surprise, when not expected. We folks do a wonderful job of servicing your clients and I will always look for Kavan Murphy and Great Hawaii Vacations for my paradise vacations. It was "ok", however, in this economy, I would think that they would be "falling all over" us to provide excellent customer service…ah well.
Food service was good. Will definitely contact you again for assistance. Just wanted to let you know that we had a excellent holiday. Could not have asked for anything better. Replying to your e-mail our experience was excellent. Your prompt confirmation to my reservation and your follow-up were efficient and when I e-mailed you with a question, that too, was promptly answered.
Ohana West, I had stayed at before and I would again. This was the 2nd time we have booked with Great Hawaii Vacations and the experiences have been great. Daniel Blau has taken care of us very well with his exceptional customer service. The free breakfast buffet and car made the trip very enjoyable. Thank you so much for helping me book my hotel through Great Hawaii Vacations.
I took your advice and cannot thank you enough. I would definately stay at that hotel again. Because of the great service that I got from Great Hawaii Vacations, I have referred other friends of mine who are interested in going to hawaii to book their trips through your company. Thank you again for all your help and for making my trip to Oahu fantastically enjoyable! We had a wonderful time on our vacation.
The hotel grounds at the Maui Prince were lush and beautiful and the view from our room was magnificent! It was so wonderful waking every morning to the sight and sounds of the ocean and the birds.
The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. The only problem, of course was that it went by too fast. We were very pleased with everything and would recommend Great Hawaii Vacations and the Maui Prince to anyone going to Hawaii. Thank you for planning our vacation. The Ritz-Carlton was outstanding. The car rental and the breakfast package were also great. I just wish Northwest Airlines served decent food on their flights we made that reservation - not you!
For an 8 hour flight from Minneapolis-St. Paul to Honolulu, it would be at least nice to purchase a warm meal. What they sell you is very disappointing. When we go back, we will certainly use you -- and we will recommend you to others. I searched the web myself to find where we wanted to stay in Maui. Napili Kai Beach Resort looked just like what we were looking for. I called the Great Hawaii Vacations number, spoke and received wonderful assistance from Kavan Murphy.
He was very polite, and familiar with the Resort to help me with making my booking in a lovely Studio Ocean Front. This was our 2nd trip to Maui, and we will definitely rebook at Napili Kai Beach Resort on our next return. We were last in Maui 8 years ago for our 25th anniversary, and even my husband said we won't wait another 8 years to return!
Also thru Great Hawaii Vacations, we received an email regarding booking activities. Receiving the vouchers, via email for the activities before leaving home put the trip together so nicely, so all we had to do is have fun and relax when we got there. And that is just what we did!
Thanks for helping us have a lovely vacation in Maui. Our vacation was great! Patti did a wonderful job is setting up our plans and she was very attentive to our needs, we could not ask for more. The condo was clean, spacious and looked just like the pictures that Patti sent us. Again thank you for your help and hopefully we can work with you again in November I have a birthday in November and we are thinking about another trip to Hawaii to celebrate my birthday.
I have to tell you that our vacation in Maui was unbelievable!! From the plane to the car rental to the hotel, there was not one glitch.
United was fabulous and left on time, including the connecting flights in Chicago on the way out and in San Francisco on the return. By the way, it was a great idea to connect through Chicago. It gave the girls a little stretch before the 9-hour flight out. The Grand Wailea Resort was fabulous! Your recommendation to stay in the Lagoon wing was also spot on, since it was literally a stone's throw to the pool.
If you should book soon for another family that loves to swim, room is the room to have. We could walk from the patio right over to the pools. The time of year that we went must have been the time to go, too, because we had our pick of chairs and plenty of room in the water.
My husband and our year old had a private scuba clinic and, since they were the only ones that showed up, received a free CD documenting their experience. The room wasn't noisy and we loved sitting outside to watch everyone having fun in the pools. We also took advantage of the complimentary art and garden tours the resort had to offer, which everyone loved, including the three girls.
And, we could easily walk to the Wailea shops, which we did twice. We took your advice and stocked up on snacks before arriving at the hotel, which again was convenient to have so close to the pool. One day we spent 5 hours in the pools, stopping only to walk up to our patio to get some snacks. And, since there were plenty of reasonable places to eat in nearby Kihei, we often went there. We did eat at the Humuhumu restaurant one night and were seated right next to the lobster traps.
The girls enjoyed that a lot. Cafe Kula was great and we ate in the Grand Dining Room the last morning. What gorgeous views from there! We went to the beach every day and were able to see whales one morning. That was quite a treat! And, on the last night, we went next door to the Luau at the Marriot, where the girls took a quick hula class. We did lots of things and had such a great time that we defintely plan to go back! Next time we'll extend it to two weeks, though, to give us time to do more.
Thanks for all of your suggestions and tips. It was a pleasure working with you and your colleagues.
