A wonderful base from which to explore this part of the world. Thanks for the fab lemon cake on arrival - it was delicious! Lovely kitchen, comfy bed, just perfect for our 4 night stay exploring the Nothumberland coastline. Very quiet, just the horses plodding around the fields, and the odd wood pigeon. Lovely view from the bedroom and living room windows, and situated on a very quiet cul de sac with pleasant neighbours just a short way from the beach.
If you're looking for a quiet holiday with everything you need in the house then this is it. Lovely house very clean with everything you need. Really handy for walking to the beach and the pubs in the village. Had a great time. Quiet estate location only 5 minutes walk to sea front. Good base to explore Northumberland from. The house is very small, particularly the second bedroom and basic in comfort, though adequate for a few days. The location is quiet and close to the coast walkable to the beach There is a small back garden with a bench and a whirly to hang washing.
The local pub has good food and is a short walk away. We had a fantastic stay at Stephen's place. Stephen was contactable and quick to respond. He even messaged to remind us to wrap up warm for the beach: A 5 minute walk from the beach and a perfect distance for a trip into Seahouses and Bamburgh. Highly recommend as a base for exploring this part of Northumberland.
The only minor drawback was the intermittent wifi access which was more off than on. Not a huge problem but certainly noticeable throughout the weekend. We'd definitely stay at Stephen's place again and will recommend to others. Ideal for exploring the beautiful Northumberland coast. Parking was very easy in a designated spot just outside the property. The living room especially is very comfortable, with lovely reclining chairs right in front of a large TV, with a DVD player available.
The beds were comfortable too, including the bunk beds which are easily sizeable enough for adults. The kitchen has all the equipment and utensils you would need in it, and there is plenty of storage available should you need it. Steven was very easily contactable via AirBnB with quick responses and all information provided. This property is in a good location, close to pubs and shops and a great base to explore the surrounding area from.
Steve responded to queries really quickly and was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Seahouses! The flat was clean and homely, we felt very comfortable there. Communication from Steven was great, he responded very quickly to messages. Lovely flat in Seahouses. Great to have a parking space and really convenient for all amenities.
Fantastic location, fantastic hosts, catered for our every need. A lovely bungalow in a great location overlooking the fields to the rear. Everything you need and more, would love to stay here again. We were a party of four adults staying for a long weekend with our dogs. We loved it and would highly recommend. Lovely house in an amazing location. The house was really nicely decorated with lots of space and a really good kitchen.
You get lovely views out the back to a field with horses in it. Look out the other way and you can see the dunes on the edge of the beach. Beadnell is a really nice, low key little village. It's perfect to explore the whole stretch of coast from holy island down to dunstanburgh -- both of which are amazing and the beaches all along the coast are exceptional. We'd definitely stay again. Really lovely house, it surpassed the photos. The sofa and beds are very comfortable; the house has really effective heating plus a gorgeous open fire.
Kitchen is well appointed and has everything you need. We had a fantastic few days walking on the beach and relaxing in the house. We would definitely come back here. Such a charming house and great location to be based, worked wonderfully for our family. My daughters loved visiting the horses out the back garden every morning! Really lovely cottage with lots of space, bigger than we expected.
It would be ideal in the summer with the outdoor space overlooking the fields. The kids loved the bunk beds. Excellent location for days out and walking distance to the local pub! Well located small bungalow that is well equipped with good quality fixtures and fittings.
Would definitely book again. The accommodation was great- comfortable and warm with lots of character and well located for visiting local beach and attractions. We had a lovely relaxing holiday at Seahouses. Great location for the town and boats to the Farne Island. Very easy to find and easy access. Nice a warm on very wet day. Would recommend this to anyone. Sam's house is a lovely homely place, very comfortable and in a great location.
No complaints, we loved it. The house was fine, well appointed, warm and comfortable. Convenient for the harbour, the Black Swan, the fishmonger, and for setting off along the coast path.
Thanks very much Julian Lush. This is a lovely, well kept cottage style home in a quiet but central location. Two lovely double rooms and a room with two single beds. Very clean and good central heating.

Sam is very quick to respond to messages and very helpful. We had a fabulous time and loved our trips to the Farne Islands We saw fabulous wildlife and then snuggled down in front of a real fire.
Highly recommend this property. A spacious flat in the older part of Seahouses, a few minutes from the sea. Just what we wanted. The cottage is very nice very clean, with everything we needed. All check in details were clear and provided before we arrive with no prompt. Delightful property in central Seahouses. The beds were comfy, the open-fire was lovely and warming and the house was well-looked after.
We enjoyed our stay, the kids appreciated the loan of the buckets for the beach and the host was attentive. Nice cottage, with space for our family to stay. Very handy for Seahouses and the surrounding area. It was nice to be greeted by the owner and know she was nearby.
Good parking up to two cars. Carol's place truly is a gem. Myself and my 4 daughters and mother in law stayed Mon-friday. We celebrated my youngest daughter's birthday.
We lacked for nothing. Had Asda deliver groceries, although the co-op is so close by. Even an ice cream scooper was in the drawers! We didn't have a car but again, everything was at our fingertips.
The beef and ale pie, pasty and the almond slice were both excellent. Read a review stating that the breakfast here was great, it could not have been more wrong. Not only was the food tasteless and cheap, it was horribley presented and well overpriced. Some scabby bacon and sausages, a fried egg and tinned tomato puree heaped together on a a tiny plate does not a breakfast make.
Wanted to try the cakes but was too put off by the breakfast to even bother, sure they would have been nice but I suggest this place sticks to what it knows and not bother with the breakfast.
