I prefer a woman who is not in a serious relationship, as I would like the possibility of growing our new friendship. I am male 24, brown, 5 '10. Seeking FOR ESCORTS m4w Want to try an escort. I'm a fairly normal dude in my 30s and just waiting to expand my social circle of friends.
Damian helped us feel very at home in Cromwell. He made sure the cabin would fit our family's wishes for our holiday weekend before we booked. He is an excellent and attentive host. When we first arrived at the cabin and unlocked the door, we found everything in order, along with a handwritten lovely note and a bottle of wine for fishing luck!
As we settled in, we found everything to be exactly as the listing shows. We were able to enjoy the lake, especially for its fishing and beautiful sunset vistas, some of which we took in sitting around the fire ring after dinner.
The cabin was quiet, perfect for a step back from it all in the North Woods. Our party of 6 was perfectly comfortable in the space, despite other folks' reservations about that number of people in the cabin. Damian's attentiveness and respectfulness were very much appreciated, and helped our stay go smoothly in its entirety!
We may be returning for a ski stay, or another lovely summer trip the next time we're vacationing. Thank you again, Damian, for the opportunity to stay "Up North" in such a lovely cabin! Damian did a great job of communicating with us. Everything was just as expected. We enjoyed the cabin and the lake and even caught some fish!
The cabin was very nice! The steps to the downstairs ARE quite steep but the hand rail makes them do-able. A great find for a great time! This cabin has a warm and cozy feel. It is an excellent retreat for you and a few close friends or for a romantic weekend getaway. I personally went with my girlfriend and another couple for 3 days. We enjoyed a good time having a few drinks and playing some board games at night.
During the day we were able to lay out on the dock and even jumped into the lake, which was clear enough to see to the bottom. The lake was also cleared fairly well around the dock. All amenities were modern and up to date allowing us to focus on relaxing rather than figuring out how to make a fire.
Definitely a must stay and all 4 of us plan on staying again in the future. We fell in love with this place the minute we stepped out of the car. At the end of a dead end road, beautiful yard, private setting and the lake!
Love how you can bring your own boat and park it at the dock. Great little bench at the end for casting a line or just unwinding. Plenty of firewood furnished which was appreciated.
The inside of the cabin which is really more like a permanent house IMO was great. Damian made the whole experience easy. From the moment we received the confirmation, the excellent service began.
He sent us a list of places to visit nearby. This helped with our vacation planning and getting the local's perspective! On the first day of our trip, he texted to check in and make sure we were okay. During our stay, he offered more tips and local favorites and even offered to come by and clear the snow in the driveway. The cabin was perfect. There was a deck overlooking the lake. Even in the winter with all of the snow, it was spectacular. We had beautiful sunsets most nights of our trip.
The kitchen was perfect for a longer stay. We even celebrated Christmas with turkey and the fixings. It was a great visit! My girlfriends and I rented this charming cabin for a long girl's weekend. Very clean, cute and cozy cabin with everything we needed. Beautiful sunsets on the lake, a large deck to relax on, great dock and swimming area. Damian was very helpful and responsive. We loved our stay!
We had a blast during our weekend at the cabin! Plenty of comfy bedding for our crew to use, cabin was clean and cozy. Quick drive to Hinckley for our concert Saturday night- the cabin was a much better alternative to a hotel room! We had a great experience with Lisa. She communicated clearly and was very helpful throughout our stay. We were there early in the spring, and though they didn't have the boats out yet, when we asked, they got them out and cleaned up so we could use them.
We also cooked our own food all weekend and never needed an appliance or pan that couldn't be found. The hot tub and fire pit look out onto the water, and are the cherry on top of a beautiful space.
This place is absolutely worth what you'd pay for it and more. We were two couples with a dog looking for a place to get away from the Twin Cities and relax for a night. We chose this spot and could not have been happier. It's a manageable drive from both the Twin Cities and Duluth where we spent the afternoon , and also an idyllic little getaway on its own.
The cabin was clean and comfortable, with new appliances and a washer-dryer. We were generally impressed with how well it was stocked with everything we might need! The outdoor hot-tub was the perfect little luxury, and we spent the evening grilling and watching the stars by the fire pit. The lake itself was beautiful in the autumn, and there were canoes and paddleboats at our disposal.
Our dog could not get enough of the lake and had a great time romping around with a neighbor's dog who came to say hi. The best part of the experience was meeting Lance, whose warmth and general hospitality made us feel immediately at home. While this place is clearly expertly managed, our correspondence with him was always human and generous and personable.
Our puppies played together, he offered us free pizza, and was lenient about the check-out hour. We also appreciated no minimum stay. This place has the perfect balance of a comfortable and affordable getaway with family-run warmth and personality. We spent three days at Lisa's cabin and it was very peaceful and relaxing.
She really does think of everything in accommodating her guests! The hot tub is an outstanding feature along with the ready-to-go fire pit and frozen pizzas. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I would highly recommend Lisa's place for travelers looking for some quiet time in a peaceful setting. Lisa was very helpful and friendly, and made sure we made it there safe since the roads were icy. We enjoyed a beautiful walk around the frozen lake and soaked in the hot tub both nights.
The cabin was well equipped with kitchen utensils, plenty of comfortable linen, good wifi, satellite tv and everything, including the hot tub, was clean and well maintained. The frozen pizzas were delicious too - thank you!
We would love to come back! Our stay at second lake was incredible - from the views, the hot tub, the free pizza, to the fire pit made up for our visit - we felt right at home. We were planning on doing sightseeing around the north shore during this vacation, but this cabin became an attraction in and of itself. Definitely going to make this place an annual visit! The cabin was easy to get to and was accurately portrayed by the pictures.
The host left us good instructions about the cabin and there was a nice binder filled with helpful information. The provided frozen pizza was delicious, and the hot tub was great. We would definitely be interested in coming back! We were only here a short time but we really enjoyed it!
The chickens and kitty are so welcoming: If we need a place to stay and are in the area again, we will book again! Tabitha was a wonderful host with quick response time and information about the area. Floodwood is a quaint little town and very friendly. Our little Doxie loved running around on the farm and chasing the chickens.
It was definitely a fun experience. Etta is a great host with great attention the needs of her guests I think the cabin was better equipped than my own home. The cabin offers plenty of privacy. This is the cutest little cabin on a farm. There are cows right outside your door and chickens running around!

The cabin offers plenty of privacy. This is the cutest little cabin on a farm. There are cows right outside your door and chickens running around! I loved our experience here. Etta was so accommodating and friendly. Best place to stay in Floodwood! Outstanding little farm if you want some private time to yourself to relax. Would recomend Etta's Place to anyone who enjoys walks, cows, chickens, and just outdoor activities to sooth your soul!!
The Hostess with the Mostest! Everything we could have asked and so much more! A wonderful little guest house, private and cozy, on a beautiful, quiet patch of land. Clean soft bed, our own sink and shower, kitchenette, a little dining table, two mini fridges full of drinks and treats We soaked our bones with heat, had cool showers and slept like babies.
Our hostess was generous, kind, showed us how to use all the gadgets and amenities and even helped us find the farm when we got lost. Our best Air BnB ever. Wonderful, hardworking people sharing their farm for others to enjoy! Very quick to respond to any questions. And so very friendly. If you love the country life and want a place to stay with the chickens and cows. But remember this is a farm, their are going to be bugs and chicken poop..
This home is absolutely beautiful! The space is stylishly and smartly furnished and provides for a number of cozy sitting areas to relax and connect with each other. The hosts are extremely responsive and always returned text inquiries within minutes. I would highly recommend this home for any of your getaway needs.
Highly recommend staying here. The venue was amazing. Will defiantly be coming back sometime in the future. The cabin is amazing.
It is better than the pictures, if you can believe it. More than enough space, nice appliances, great yard, very private. Very quick response time too! A great location for a getaway! Thanks for opening your cabin doors to us--your cabin is so sublime and central to all the activities one can stuff into a long weekend in the Brainerd Lakes area.
Hosts were very easy to communicate with, cabin opening and dwelling instructions clear, and cabin fully stocked as described! My wife and I had an amazing two night stay at T. Enik and Erin do an incredible job keeping this cabin in great shape. It smelled great when we walked in the door and everything was very clean. It is easy to find, even though it's in the middle of the woods, and because Enik and I talked on the phone prior to our visit, getting in the cabin was no problem.
My wife and I enjoyed cooking together, watching movies, playing games, and exploring the woods! We also visited a great restaurant called The Bungalow about 15 mins from the cabin.
You have to try their homemade beer battered onion rings! If you are considering renting this place out for a weekend getaway, do it! We cannot wait to come back again and again! The cabin was just as described and didn't disappoint at all! It's in a great, wooded setting with all the amenities you could want for. There are plenty of things to do in the area if you so choose. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at T. The cabin was perfect! Clean, warm, and welcoming. We brought our two little children and our dog, and all had a good time.
Our kids enjoyed playing in the cabin, and exploring the yard. The yard itself was quite large and our dog had a blast running down tennis balls. The cabin was easy to find, and located just over a mile outside of Outing, MN. While we spent the vast majority of our time at the cabin, we did go into town for an ice-cream cone at Owls and Things in town, and we recommend their generously scooped ice-cream!
I think our favorite thing about the cabin was the simplicity. We were looking for a relaxing weekend without the pressure of doing a whole lot other than cooking and playing with our kids and dog. The simplicity of the cabin lends itself to relaxation quite well. Not that there isn't anything to do. Enic and Erin have stocked the place full of board games, movies, lawn games, etc.
Also, for the more adventurous, there is plenty of good hiking and biking nearby in Outing, and even public access boat launching I'm sure there are also boat rentals in town. For us, the simplicity meant there was no pressure on us to maximize anything other than enjoying each other and time away from the city. We would definitely go back, and plan to! We enjoyed our time at T. Cute, comfy cabin in a nice and quiet location. We enjoyed walks with our pup on the country roads no traffic whatsoever!
Appreciated the flexibility to bring pets - nice when they get to enjoy a weekend away with us as well! We had the most wonderful time. The cabin is truly better in real life than the photos!! A wonderful place to relax and get away, the hosts have anticipated every detail. Our favorite part was building a campfire in the fire pit and watching the stars.
A true retreat for weary souls. Wonderful relaxing weekend away with our young girls. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing your property and cabin with us! We had a great stay at this charming little cottage. We were in town for a wedding so didn't get a chance to check out the biking trails but took walks around town and visited several antique shops in Crosby.
The cottage was a very comfortable place to stay, loved the decor and Josh and Leah made the process super easy. Looking for a great place to stay? You have found it! The name says it all, Bike Rack Cottage! Josh and Leah are the greatest host! They are attentive to guest needs, and are knowledgable about the area, and are avid mountain bikers themselves! The cottage is located within blocks of the trail spurs leading back to all the mountain bike trails.
The cottage has everything you will need, as well as a locked garage to safely store all your bikes when not on the trails. We come back yearly to stay at Josh and Leah's cottage, and have a great time every year! Everything was comfortable and well done there. Here's a list of what I loved: Extra blankets and towels galore. This is hard to come by, so we were super grateful. Quiet neighbors, easy parking, garage with bike racks for all our bikes.
They've thought of everything! Such a cute little spot and fun amenities. Plenty of beds, clean, airy, comfortable, WiFi, modern tv accessibility, professional branding items that pulled everything together and overall such a home away from home. Loved spending the few days we had here. As many have stated, the location is perfect for getting to the bike trails and downtown. We mountain biked and placed our paddleboards in Pennington Mine Lake, which is insanely clear!!
The cottage is close enough to bike downtown and visit the Cuyuna Brewery and a couple of new dining establishments. The cottage has all the amenities needed to have a great stay. Also if you stay over July 4th you can view the Crosby fireworks over Serpent Lake perfectly from the back stoop.
What a great stay for our mountain biking trip! Very close ride in to the Cuyuna trail system, which made this location perfect.
Quiet neighborhood, huge side yard for hanging out, and the lockable garage for bike storage was a big help. We slept 6 very easily and made great use of the kitchen. Josh and Leah helped us find a little Crosby nightlife, and Josh even took the time to show us around some of the trails! The Bike Rack Cottage was a perfect place for our family to spend a weekend. We were close to the mountain bike trails, tennis courts, and baseball field.
The cottage was so comfy and clean. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. Everything we needed in kitchen and bathroom accessories. Huge plus to be able to have our pups stay with us and a garage to store our bikes. Definitely want to stay here again! Loved everything about this little cottage and the town of Crosby. The house was cute, clean and very tasteful.
About a 15 minute walk to downtown and very close to the main state trail and 30 miles of mountain bike or fat tire bike trails!
What a fantastic little place this was! Awesome stay - Bradley and Hanna made our first Airbnb experience a memorable one from start to finish. Bradley was very prompt, responsive and proactive in all our interactions. The place itself is a hidden gem The house is very neat and considerately organized - Hanna's touch is very planned and thoughtful!
The 4 of us, including our pup, Oscar were so comfortable, we felt right at home. Just 2 hours from the Twin Cities, we can wholeheartedly recommend this cabin for anyone wanting a rejuvenating, stress-detoxifying experience.
Thanks Bradley and Hanna. It's just a short walk to the nearby lake. Bradley was a great host and made sure we enjoyed our stay. We had a great time! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
Perfect place to get away with our dogs and close to the mountain bike trails! We will definitely be coming to stay again! We had a great week staying in Isle. The house is clean and just as the pictures show. We had a great week hanging out at the lake and being on the water. The home was beautiful!
Lots of space and all the amenities you need. All dishware, towels, bedding, entertainment, Wi-Fi, etc. We stayed with my 2 year old toddler and parents and some other family 7 total and had plenty of room.
Nice large yard with a fire pit, deck and sandy beach for my son to play on. We used the pier to dock our fishing boat and went out every day. The grocery store is about 3 blocks away and an easy walk into Isle from the home. Would highly recommend staying here - it was very convenient and relaxing. Thanks for letting us stay! The house and town were great! The rental process was very easy and James was always available in case we needed anything. With 12 people and four kids under the age of 5, the house had plenty of room for all to enjoy!
Jay was quick to respond with any answers to our questions and made us feel at home. Our visit brought us rain a few mornings and there were plenty of activities for us to enjoy in the house. Great plan to stay! We really enjoyed all of the water toys that were provided! The kids had a blast with the paddle board. This place was perfect for our Christmas get together. There was plenty of room for multiple families to spread out.
We especially liked the second family room with the fireplace, everyone could hang out in there while kids napped without worrying about waking them. The kitchen was just the right size, we were able to make many meals in it.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Private and clean cabin with the essentials and a very attentive host! We had exterior privacy and quick assistance if we needed. The bedroom doesn't have a door and the bathroom is behind a half wall. The shower floor felt a bit spongy under the lining, but zero bad smells or mildew. A very clean space! If you're a home chef, be prepared for a crash course in cooking with an electric oven and stove from the 's Some basic utensils were lacking such as a ladle, but it was stocked well enough for two people.
Overall comfortable and affordable. We would visit again! The cabin was great, location was excellent, and Charlie was a wonderful host. The wildlife alone was worth the stay! Sitting by the campfire, watching deer nearby, and listening to the sound of the loons. Very peaceful, and relaxing! We will definitely be back! We loved staying at this cabin - it was perfect for a couple! And the host was very helpful and nice! The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable We didn't have wifi or many of the amenities available in some of the other rooms at Hanging Lake, but we didn't miss them either.
I wish we had another day or two to explore the lake with the canoes or kayaks provided, but our schedule was already booked up. Looking forward to visiting again. Charlie did a great job of making sure we were comfortable. The cabin is about as basic as you could expect and still have a kitchen and bathroom.
If you are looking for something more like a hotel room, they have those available as well and they are very nice. Give them a call. This place was exactly what we were looking for. A low key cabin with some privacy and just the essential needs to make the stay comfortable. Charlie was very courteous and friendly. Sandra was a wonderful host. The location was perfect. Right in town and minutes from all the amazing bike trails.
We had a wonderful time! Sandra was an awesome host and was diligent to respond to every question in a speedy manner. She's added some nice personal touches to make this feel homey as well. The view is of an alley but the place is quiet and with the one bed, the hideaway and an inflatable mattress we were able to spread out just fine. One other thing - It's right next door to a cool place called the Red Raven where you can rent nice bikes, grab a mocha, sandwich or beer.
The price is right, the host Is great and the central location is outstanding. The Alley Inn is Crosby's best kept secret! We were so surprised when we walked in! The place is spacious, comfy, and stylish. The location is perfect for anyone visiting Crosby - everything is within walking distance.
I appreciated the host and her hospitality. We hope to return soon!! This place is wonderful! Right next door to the wonderful Red Raven coffee shop, and walking distance to the Iron Range eatery. Takes about 10 mins to bike to trails from the front door, if that. Clean, updated, and a perfect spot to stay. We loved the little decorative touches!
Sandra was a great hostess. We had no problems at all and will definitely be back. It's a very good value if you want a place with a kitchen to make meals etc. I wrote a review earlier because this a repeat stay for us, as lovely as always! Sandra is a great hostess. This was our second time staying at the Alley Inn. Sandra is an excellent host, the place was super clean. We love being so close to the bike trails - we will be back!
I truely loved everything about Jame's place. So secluded and serene. I loved all the woodwork inside and the upstairs bathroom was so unique.
The wrap around deck was fabulo us! Loved seeing deer and other wild animals. Hard for me to put into words how wonderful this place was! You just have to experience it yourself to understand what I mean. The cabin was even better than we were anticipating! Lovely space, and we would love to return in the summer because of the huge lawn and proximity to the river. We had a wonderful time at the cabin, relaxing on the deck and by the river, and hiking at Banning State Park to Wolf Creek Falls.
The girls had a blast. The cabin and property are amazing, so beautiful in every way, in and out. The river is a few steps away and so soothing. We couldn't have asked for a better host; James is so easy to communicate with and flexible.
We'll certainly be back! James was a great host, and the cabin was equipped with everything you need to have a great stay. The cabin and James more than exceeded my expectations! Check in was very easy and straightforward. We were delighted by all the amenities once we got in. They have thought of everything you could need: The cabin was fantastically beautiful I was in envy of the furniture and the beds were so comfortable.
Mother nature throw some curveballs, but James made sure to stay one step ahead making sure we had bug spray, for example. For runners, we stayed here during Grandma's Marathon and were glad we did. It is a 50ish minute drive to the nearest drop off point. The location was so relaxing and beautiful, making it was a very stress free experience. The pictures don't do this cabin justice.
It's a slice of paradise. The style of it is gorgeous inside and out. James was welcoming from start to finish. He even accommodated us arriving a bit early. Lots of hummingbird sightings during our stay. Loooved the river in the background! Best get away I've had in along time. I would and will recommend this place to anyone looking for a mini vacation. Beds were super comfortable.
All amenities were there. I would stay here again, I'd love to see how it looks in the winter! The cabin is really fantasy, especially for families. It is very comfortable to stay in, and there are lots of toys for the kids. It feels 'lived in', but is really clean at the same time. The view is stunning, and despite the warning in the advertisement we had no noise issues at all. Minutes from boat ramp at Mille Lacs. Very comfortable beds and amazing lake view patio. Cannot thank Jill enough for providing such an extraordinary experience for our guy's weekend.
Clean, homey feel with picturesque views and great amenities. The deck and yard provided great places for relaxation and activities. You would be missing out on a great opportunity if you didn't stay here; we couldn't say enough good things about this place! The house is large enough for a big family to be all together which was wonderful!
The host, Jill, was available for communication during our check-in and stay, which was much appreciated!
The perfect place for a weekend get away! Great location, with a beautiful view of the Lake Mille Lacs! Plenty of room at the house for many guests to fit comfortable! There were only 4 of us occupying the home but it's definitely big enough for more and wish that we would have had more family or friends with us. The beds were comfortable, the view was wonderful and the location from Deerwood Hockey Camp was great. I would definitely recommend Breezy Shores for your weekend or weekly getaway! Thank you Jill for leaving a book full of resources of all that Garrison has to offer!
My wife and I chose at the last minute to celebrate our wedding anniversary hiking through Jay Cooke and biking on the Munger trail during the peak of fall colors. With all of the hotels booked, we turned to Airbnb and we found a wonderful location on a quiet lake, with beautiful colors, only 30 minutes from Duluth. We were looking for a place to sleep, and what we found was a destination. The room was gorgeous with 8' high windows looking over the lake. Charlie greeted us personally when we arrived and showed us around the beautiful grounds and buildings.
The room was modern and clean. We slept well and woke up to a nice breakfast of rolls, fruit, oatmeal, hardboiled eggs Afterwards, we met Charlie down by the lake and he let us take the canoe around the lake. What a special relaxing time. I hope to come back and stay with friends and family.
This was the most amazing stay for us - we came for one night and stayed three A winter wonderland - A true Minnesota experience - ice fishing, walks in the snow and on the iced lake, outdoor log fire on New Years eve and day! His personal attention and hospitality of the team was amazing. We will be back!! Hanging Horn is an ideal place to stay in the summer time if you're looking for peace, quiet, and a beautiful lake setting. Located directly on the shore of Little Hanging Horn lake in Barnum, MN, the lodge provides extremely clean and cozy rooms, free parking, small complimentary breakfast items like doughnuts!!
Lastly, Hanging Horn is hard to beat in terms of hospitality. The staff at Hanging Horn always make themselves available to all of their guests and their needs.
Phone calls to the staff were always answered and checking in and out was easy. When our car tire blew out and we were stranded an extra night Hanging Horn let us stay an extra night at the same rate which truly demonstrated their kindness and exceptional customer service!
I would absolutely recommend Hanging Horn!!! Hanging Horn was awesome. It is conveniently located, yet very quiet. Everything is there for boating and has kayaks, canoes and small fishing boats I call them Lund boats. It had a great firepit. The environment was wonderful. The room was absolutely clean and the place overall had everything we needed for northwoods rest and relaxation. We will definitely return and would highly recommend. Nice and quiet and secluded lakefront property in the Northwoods.
We enjoyed the use of their Kayaks. Host was super accommodating. Go to Hanging Horn, you won't regret it. Charley is a fantastic host and the location is an absolute gem. Gorgeous setting, nice newly redone bathroom, great stock of snacks and variety for breakfast. Our kids loved the doughnuts! The host clearly has the comfort of his guests in mind. Karin was very responsive, kind, and helpful for getting our traveler in and comfortable during her work assignment. We had an awesome weekend at Stephanie's cabin.
Everything was as described and we found it so cozy and comfortable. The layout and thoughtful furnishing of the cabin makes it very easy to enjoy as a group. The setting is gorgeous on the river and we enjoyed exploring the area. A perfect winter weekend getaway for our family. Great place as advertised. All the comforts of home that you could ask for.
Stephanie was a great host. Could not have been more perfect for our family. We had a great time at the cabin! We loved how quiet it was but also easily accessible. It was perfect for our weekend away from the city. Stephanie's place was perfect for a girls' weekend up north. The house was well stocked with everything we needed from beach towels to kitchen essentials. We'd definitely stay again! Awesome little place right outside of town.
Stephanie was very accommodating and helpful. It was cozy but more spacious than I anticipated! The house feels like a home away from home for us. We love that it is in a quiet neighborhood that is close to serpent lake, the bike trails, and downtown restaurants and brewery—which is great!
We will definitely be back on our next bike adventure: Absolute gem if you are hitting Cuyuna Trails. Within riding distance of all the trailheads. Clean and well organized home in Crosby. New floors and windows thru out home and kitchen and entertainment space.
Bright home, many windows! Nice back porch and large yard. Centrally located in Crosby. Close to biking trails. Hope to visit again. Excellent spot for a weekend getaway! Super convenient for bike trails and restaurants. I especially liked the bike decor. Mary was an excellent host. She was great with communication and flexible with our check in time.
Her place is a perfect location to Voyagers National Park and is lovely. Mary was an overall great hosts and truly made us feel welcomed. My husband and I needed overflow space for sleep while attending a family reunion in Grand Rapids.
We found Mary and Greg's place and had a good night's rest both nights, plus left each morning very full after hearty and yummy breakfasts that Mary prepared with the best ingredients one could ask for. This place was an exceptional value and we felt right at home with their dogs, Rosemary and Louie, playing with our dog, Jango. The cats are all nice too. Walking the dog was safe and easy each morning on the country road they're located on didn't see one car.
We had a great stay with Mary. The farm is beautiful and full of animals, the room is spacious with a huge and comfortable bed, and we were greeted with cookies and served an amazing breakfast in the morning. Everything was great and we would definitely stay again!
Mary Jo and Greg were there to greet us and welcome us in, as well as some of their four legged friends. After brief introductions, Mary showed us up to our room and then allowed us our privacy to unwind and settle in. The room was spacious, and the ambiance was wonderful from the live tulips and daffodils set on a table, a candle lit bowl, to the water pitcher and glasses set out for us to use. In the morning Mary Jo made us breakfast; fresh scrambled eggs, blueberry muffins and fruit with some wonderful tasting Scottish tea.
I would definitely recommend this place as the experience was wonderful. Thank you both for a lovely stay! Mary was very accommodating for us. Thanks for a great experience! Very comfortable accommodations with delicious food. Really great hosts who made me feel at home. Close to the city to enjoy all it offers, and yet quiet home in the country with friendly animals. Mary and family are wonderful people, very welcoming.
Staying at Mary and Greg's home was one of the best Airbnb experiences ever. The delicious breakfast, the conversation, and the farm animals. I hope they travel to Colorado and stay with us. Mary is an amazing host. House is way too beautiful. I enjoyed my stay with Mary and her cute pets. I didn't feel that I was living in an unknown person's house. On second day she made tasty breakfast for us. I will definitely recommend her.
Thank you Mary for being such an awesome host! They thought of everything when it came to the little essentials that you need during a family vacation. Lots of land, bonfire pit, swing and hammock were our favorites. Nice rustic cabin that would be great for a family. Nice large grounds and a small view of the lake.
If you have a boat or kayaks you can use the lake. Also, there are no doors on the bedrooms or within floors- so consider privacy and noise issues depending on who you are sharing the cabin with. Beautiful trees and property. The property was extremely clean and had everything necessary for a great stay. We especially enjoyed sitting around the bonfires in the evening plenty of firewood was provided by our hosts. The dock was fun to fish off and there were plenty of blue gills for our grandson's first fishing experience.
The only thing we lacked was time. We definitely recommend this venue. It was a cute charming space for family vacation. We enjoyed the rustic vibe and proximity to all the Duluth attractions. Check-in was easy, tips and grocery store and such were helpful! This is the perfect cabin getaway! Huge yard, in a very scenic, and beautiful location.
Great screened porch and on a beautiful lake. The house is on a beautiful lot on a peninsula with great views to the lake. It's quiet and so serene. The house is beautiful with lots of beds for family and visitors. The amenities were great - the kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need.
The hosts are amazing, lots of special touches of generosity to be found in the house. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Can't wait to visit in the summer! We were greeted with a handwritten, personalize note and gift basket - what a nice touch!
The Guesthouse is perfectly appointed, clean and cozy - exactly as pictured. The artwork throughout the house is both charming and elegant.
Kitchen is filled with everything you need, and then some, including colorful, vintage-style, Fiestaware. We will be going back for a summer visit as well. We saw deer and partridge on the property.
Very private, quite, secluded, and serene. I would highly recommend this property if you care to visit true Northern Minnesota. Owners were very friendly and helpful as well. Nice job Paul and Paul! Pauls' Guesthouse was fantastic!
It was exactly what I expected based on the pictures, and my friends and I couldn't have been more comfortable on our getaway weekend. Paul and Paul came by a little while after we had settled in to introduce themselves, and gave us some great recommendations about local pubs and eateries. Otherwise, they simply let us know how we could reach them, and left us to have fun.
The countryside is gorgeous as well; there is a clear view of the lake from the dining room, and trees and forest all around which made for wonderful walks as well as simply enjoying the visual beauty.
I also loved that there is a full kitchen that is fully furnished with far more than you would expect at any normal rental. This was especially great for me and my friends because we did a lot of cooking that weekend. This house has an excellent location for privacy and has a nice view of the lake through the trees with water all around you.
The house is very well kept and has everything you need for a trouble free getaway. The wifi works very well. Definitely will be staying again in the future. Best bargain, unbeatable location!! I have stayed in quite a few Airbnb's and this one is spectacular! Julie and Tim are just starting out, but you would never know it. The place was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, had wonderful touches like coffee, snacks and juice and water in the fridge.
Julie was super quick to respond to messages and offered many times that if we needed anything to just message her. This place is affordable and well worth the stay. My only regret was it was a quick one night stay, I wish I could have stayed longer.
I'll definitely be going back. Julie suggested it and it was wonderful. Friendly people, great food and neat atmosphere. Thoughtful touches everywhere throughout the cabin. Bathroom towels were the fluffiest and I very much enjoyed the great reading chair! They even had stuff for smores ready to go. There was a neighborhood power outage shortly after we arrived but Tim was over at our door in minutes with a large light.
He kept us updated as to what was going on. Power came back on and everything was smooth sailing from that point on. We felt very taken care of. This was our first AirBnB experience Very cozy, clean and welcoming! Lots of extra touches and more than what we expected. We had a great time at this property for our annual family trip.
The host was very welcoming and the place was very comfortable. This is a fabulous vacation home. Dennis, the owner, was very flexible in meeting us and gave us a complete tour of the house and property.
He made sure to point out all of the fun things we could use and gave us tips for activities in the area. He later checked in by text to make sure we found everything we need and was always available to answer questions. This house is even more gorgeous than the pictures. We had 2 families staying there and the large kitchen and great room were perfect. It is very light and bright with a great view of the lake. There are bird feeders right outside the back door and we loved watching the birds, rabbits, and squirrels that came each morning and night.
The yard is large and well maintained. Our boys loved playing wiffle ball and football in the back yard. The beach is also perfect for kids. The water is really shallow and the house came with kayaks, paddle boards, inner tubes and fishing gear.
There are fish swimming everywhere. This house had everything a family could need. My only regret is that we didn't have more time there. We absolutely loved our stay at Dennis's cabin, it was a gorgeous home and property with everything we needed for a great family vacation!
The layout of the home was perfect for multiple families, and the property was perfect for both adults and young children. We came for a girls weekend and the space was perfect! The kitchen and dining area was great for hanging out as a group and there were also many areas for people to have some quiet and privacy. The whole cabin is stunning so we really felt like we were living in luxury.
Dennis is an awesome host and made us feel right at home. He included all the essentials and some extra! There is so much to do in the cabin, on the lake, and outside. I definitely hope to stay again and would recommend! Beautiful home in beautiful setting. True to pictures and written descriptions.
We spent 4 nights here, and the best part about it was being on the lake. The lake was clear and calm most of the time, so it was perfect for kayaking and hanging out at the beach. The home was beautiful and everything was in working order. We had all the conveniences of being in our own home. Dennis did a great job of showing us around, and they had tons of toys available for use, such as kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, and several lawn games.
We also had a fire every night by the water and made smores! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Dennis' family lakehouse is exactly as described and could not have been a better location for our relaxing week at the lake. The lake is beautiful and full of fish, the house is comfortable and provides everything needed to relax and unwind. Dennis is an incredibly accommodating host and communication was frequent and easy.
Thank you Dennis for helping us escape the Texas heat and enjoy a week of family time in paradise. We look forward to a return visit. Todd was a great host. He was very quick to communicate and respond to any messages. The location is beautiful, the lake and views could not be beat.
It was a quick bike ride to some amazing bike and mountain biking trails. We enjoyed using the Kayaks and SUPs around the lake and down to the river. The place was in great shape, with everything we could want or need available. He made sure to have charcoal for the grill and firewood for the firepit. We look forward to coming back soon! Responsive to questions and helped when the hot water wasn't working quickly.
Quite, nice and open layout. The cabin was perfect - great WiFi, quiet neighborhood. Lots of birds and birdfeeders, so orioles and hummers galore. Fully stocked kitchen - making meals was easy.
Visited during a heat wave and the air conditioning was great. Dock is shared with friendly neighbors. Swimming area nice and sandy, with a slow slope so great for kids, even toddlers but deep enough at the end of the dock to jump off Todd is a great host, and responded quickly to a question while we were there.
Definitely would return if we get the chance. Perfectly described and easy to enjoy. Great place - Great host - Great amenities. What a great place to get away for a weekend. Todd made everything easy for us, everything we needed was available, super friendly neighbors, and a beautiful view of the lake!
Katie was super easy to work with. I felt like she actually cared about our vacation. Would definitely go back again!! This cabin was the perfect spot for our family get away! We loved the quaint feel! It had everything we needed and wanted - fire pit, grill, great assortment of movies for the rainy days we experienced!
We are already talking about booking with Katie and Aaron again! The quick responses to any question we had was wonderful! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Crosslake. What a beautiful cabin!
Every detail is geared for comfort and convenience. This lake home is beautiful! Katie is an amazing host - she has everything you could need and is very responsive. We had an amazing time relaxing, cooking and boating on the Whitefish Chain.
Can't wait to come back! We really enjoyed our stay here! Wonderful spot to read and fish and relax. Tony was a great host and very quick to respond to any messages. Fabulous home with great amenities. If you are looking for a cozy, relaxing and out of the way location this is for you! Awesome spot on the lake and the owner is very helpful with local attractions, rentals, etc. This property can be your home away from home! Tony and his newly built cabin met and then absolutely exceeded our expectations.
The cabin was beautiful, clean and had plenty of space for 10 guys. The bathrooms and kitchens were stocked with everything we needed, and Tony even included some bonus items like toothpaste, Oreos, popcorn and wine. Wonderful and spacious place to stay. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed. We did some ice fishing and the lake access was only a couple blocks away. Tony is awesome to work with! I would definetly come back and stay! This was a fantastic experience!!
Six of us did a couples weekend and it was the perfect house in the perfect location. Tony was so on the spot with communication so we knew exactly what to expect.
The house was beautiful, modern, spacious and perfect for our weekend get away. Great house on the lake. Tony was very helpful and a good host.
Beautiful getaway on an amazing lake. This cabin is so adorably decorated and it is situated at the perfect spot- protected in a little channel from the big part of the lake! Jessie was great to work with and got back to me very quickly with any questions I had.
I would stay here again! Our family loved this house. My extended family, my husband and I 7 of us stayed at Jessie's cabin for a long weekend and were very pleased. The cabin was clean, well-stocked for pretty much anything that we would need and in the ideal location--on an inlet off of a bay in Mille Lacs lake, so that we had all the beauty of a lakefront cabin without the strong winds or choppy waters.
We greatly enjoyed using the fire pit one evening and walked around the island several times, enjoying the fall colors. The large deck and various seating options were also put to good use, as was the gas grill. Really can't think of anything negative except that the hot tub wasn't working and Jessie communicated that clearly up front. In fact, Jessie's promptness in responding to questions was a huge plus, since a cheerful and reliable host is probably the most important factor in booking an AirBnB rental.
I highly recommend your cabin to other potential renters! We had a wonderful weekend at Jessie's place! The cabin was such a great place to stay with a group of people, lots of room for sleepy while still feeling cozy.
Was a very nice place. It was very clean, lots of room to sleep a lot of people, and it is set up very well for a lot of people to stay. Lots of plates, cups, silverware, etc. Jessie was very helpful and quick to respond with any questions I had. The secluded dock is nice if you have a boat. Its blocked from the wind and waves which is really nice. Not the ideal swimming place for kids, but can get out into the lake with ease. I will definitely be coming back!
Had such a great weekend at this cabin with a large group of family. The cabin was lovely and felt so cosy - and had the most comfortable couches ever in the living room. There were plenty of comfortable bedding options and sitting room for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and we didn't have trouble finding everything we needed. Was an amazing space for a winter retreat and the views across the bay and the ice fishing were fantastic. Cute place tucked away for great privacy but not far from Cross Lake with a lot of fun things to do in the area.
Lake is beautiful with some equipment there to get you on the water. Private lake so no public access. Big back deck and lovely amenities. Great hosts with great communication.
Feels like a real lake cabin experience. This cabin is much nicer than the pictures, beautiful quiet lake and helpful hosts. Our only issue was the sulphorous water. It smelled so bad we couldn't shower or use in the kitchen. I would make sure this problem is fixed before renting.
Otherwise, a wonderful rental. This home was much more than what the pictures show. There was plenty of space for our 2 families. Great access to their lake and neighboring lakes as well. Close to town for other activities. We went up with two couples and 2 young adult children. It was more spacious and newer than we thought it would be. The kitchen is well equipped, we cooked our dishes for the family reunions we were attending. The deck is spacious, has a nice hammock and sitting areas and has a nice view of the lake which is down a fairly steep hill.
At the water, there were two paddleboards and a rowboat that we used. There is a single AC unit but it is powerful and with that and the ceiling fans in every room, it kept it cool enough even though it was 90 degrees outside.
We enjoyed our stay! We rented the Holst cabin for a girls weekend. The cabin was very clean and spacious. Everything we could have needed was available for us at the cabin. We utilizing the dock for the pontoon and visited the sandbar out on the lake. We also enjoyed floating in the swim area. The lake front is easily accessible from the cabin. The yard was great for yard games and bonfires. Brad and Vicki are amazing hosts and I would highly recommend their cabin for a family getaway or a getaway with friends.
We really enjoyed our time at your cabin. The location on the lake was great, a protected bay of the lake. Us our children and grandchildren all enjoyed the lake and cabin.
The location was well maintained and stylish and beautiful. It was very easy to relax at the location. If we needed anything it was a very short drive to a farmer's market, grocery store, other attractions, etc. Communication with Brad went smooth with quick response time to any questions asked. We would highly recommend this cabin to others! On the upscale side, has ample space and a sense of privacy.
We scheduled Sun-Fri and found it very quiet and peaceful. Brad was a great host and a great communicator. He helped work through a few issues at the house and gave lots of "local" tips for the area.
A great cabin and nice location. The cabin was exceptionally clean and so comfortable. There were many games and plenty of yard space to enjoy the outdoors. Brad gave great suggestions for adventures in the area and fishing tips.
By far, one of the best places we have ever been! A perfect retreat on the best part of Farm Island Lake. Great for kids to fish and swim off the dock and if you have a boat you can boat to the sandbar on one of the islands. Great fishing on the lake bass, pike and walleye! Brad and his family are wonderful hosts, very communicative and even a local fishing report. Wonderful "Minnesota Lake Cabin " experience. Beautiful setting on small lake full of loons. Cabin was well equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need and then some.
Hosts were wonderful and easily accessible. I would definitely recommend this lovely home. This place was better than expected!
The place is so nice, comfortable, full of amenities such as water toys, kids toys, pet needs, and plenty of blankets, towels, and kitchen needs! Felt like home away from home immediately and the lake is perfect for swimming, kayaking, fishing, and tubing. It's not far from Pequot Lake with shops and food.
They really did think of everything! The property had a very private atmosphere as well as an awesome view. Paula even left us with a bottle of wine!
This is definitely one of our top rentals! We are already talking about booking for our own families later this year. Paula and Deb's place is an excellent lakeside retreat! The amenities were excellent as there were plenty of bathrooms, beds, not to mention the Kayaks, floaties, and canoe.
Definitely hope to get back! The seating in the great room worked for eating as well as hanging out. Our goal was to float, eat, and laugh. We did all three with no effort and grateful hearts for such a well stocked place that delivered on all fronts. If you want a beautiful place that feels like it's your own this is the place. The fallen oak exceeded our expectations as it is better in real life than the pictures suggest. Everything was very clean, well stocked with almost anything one could ever need.
Private yard, good beach for kids playing and feeding Crappie as well as plenty of water craft to utilize. It was especially nice to have high end appliances, cookware, bedding etc.
Had a great stay! Paula and Deb were amazing! They were great in communicating everything! Paula went out of the way to make sure everything was taken care of, and was so willing to make a trip out to the cabin when we needed something!
We are so excited to rent this amazing spot again! The vacation at Fallen Oak was perfect to celebrate a milestone anniversary with our family. The home is beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed the kayaks, raft and firepit. We were able to bring the dogs who had the time of their lives. So many amenities were available condiments, spicing, cooking utensils, etc. The bottle of wine and dog treats made it special and very welcoming.
Paula did a nice job with providing a very clean and welcoming place. We had a great time and would love to return. This place is amazing.
The tree lines on either side make it nice and private but not entirely secluded. The cabin is very clean and cozy, it almost makes you want to never leave it, until you see the amazing view from the lake. The lake is beautiful and perfect for kayaking. Even on windy days the lake was not too rough, and it is long so you have lots of exploring to do.
Each night near sunset the lake was extremely calm, almost like a sheet of glass, making it perfect for a sunset kayaking trip. Sleepy Hollow Hideaway was everything we expected and more. We were looking for a secluded place to enjoy fishing, nature, and relaxing, and Kevin's cabin delivered. Around 10 minutes of driving off the main road brings you to a cozy cabin in the woods with a clear view of the lake and of amazing sunsets.
The cabin fit our family of four and a few dogs very comfortably. Even with a beautiful lake just outside the door, we found the cabin a very relaxing place to play games, read, or watch a DVD on a rainy afternoon. At meal time, we enjoyed eating on the lake view deck with Little Thunder Lake as our backdrop. Little Thunder lake is picturesque, and the surrounding area is so quiet you can hear the insects buzzing any time of day.
Little Thunder gets so calm you'll marvel at the miles long glassy surface, perfect for top water fishing or sunset kayaking. Kevin was friendly and helpful throughout the whole process of booking the cabin, and he really made it easy to enjoy our time on vacation.
If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in a cozy cabin on a secluded lake, you've found the place at Sleepy Hollow Hideaway. This cabin is so beautiful and peaceful! The sunsets were just as amazing as described! Everything is brand new and spotless! We had fun catching little fish off the dock and enjoying quiet bonfires at night! The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. We hope to find time to visit again soon!
Cute quiet place to visit. Amazing sunsets, great golf close by, lot of antiques within 30 minutes, super clean lake, affordable boat rental that delivers, lots of great trails for walking, riding bike or 4 wheelers, the lake is quiet, fishing is a good! Great, rustic and cozy log cabin! We ended up being 3 people and for up to 4 people I think it's perfect, everything above that might be a little too cozy, if the weather turns bad which it did during our stay and you have to stay indoors.
Check-in with the lockbox is amazing as it gives you flexibility on your arrival time and Wanda was very thoughtful and provided answers to questions I didn't even know I had in a detailed email beforehand. Caution for tall people needed, there is a beam through the living area at a height of about 5ft10, my 6ft2 husband hit his head a couple times ; Overall a great choice for a lake-vacation! Amazing views of the lake and very clean and clear Even caught some nice sized Bluegills.
This was my first Airbnb experience, but even if it were my hundredth, I couldn't imagine one better! The two sitting rooms are amply and charmingly furnished in an antique Scandinavian style, the kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, and the bedroom is cozy but very comfortable.
However, it's the setting and outdoor facilities that make Eagle's View spectacular: What a fabulous place! Subbing for host Kathryn was her dad Bob. He was very helpful and gracious, even allowing us to hold a wedding shower for my daughter there as one event of a family reunion. During our weekend visit, we took full advantage of all this wonderful place has to offer!
Thank you Kathryn and Bob! We had an incredible time swimming, playing yard games, watching movies, canoeing, and just relaxing. We had eagles over head, loons every where, and saw piliated woodpeckers for the first time in my life!
Truly was an extraordinary piece of land! Wonderful cabin, just as pictured and described, on a serene and lovely lake. Thoroughly enjoyed having the canoe and kayak to explore the lake. The call of the loons was great background music. Do you have a Minnesotan-Scandinavian grandmother who lets you use her lake cabin? Me neither, but I think this is what it would be like. Very beautiful, quiet location, older but cute and comfortable accommodations, and access via dock and canoe to a gorgeous lake.
We want to go back soon! If you want to enjoy nature in a calm, quiet area this is it. Would have liked to stay a few more days. Great little cabin with everything you need. The lake is clean and beautiful and there is a canoe and kayaks provided.
Loved grilling on the deck with a great view of the lake. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend spending some time there. We had a wonderful weekend and really enjoyed Crosslake and the Treetop Village.
The cabin was very clean and exactly what you would hope for in a Northwoods cabin - wood but with modern amenities! The area nearby is quiet but welcoming. There are several restaurants, bars and a brewery all within walking distance. In the surrounding area there are a lot of great golf courses and lakes with boat rentals for easy access.
I highly recommend the Treetop Village and Stacey was an excellent host! We would definitely stay again. Find Cabins in McGregor on Airbnb.
