The group behind Startup Ireland are working hard to help increase the number of Irish startups that start + scale successfully. Their primary means for this is via networking and the provision of relevant information.
As a startup itself the Startup Ireland organisation is very focused on our milestones and the needs of their users. Given that the total Linkedin Groups (inc Dublin, Cork etc) membership now exceeds 3,600, and total Twitter followers exceeds 4,200, they appear to be going in the right direction.
They are now followed by Derek Andersen founder of Startup Grind, the President of Crunchbase has joined the Linkedin Group and their material is ReTweeted by similar groups across the planet such as @startupnz.
However they now have to decide on the next strategic steps. They would like to hear from startups, incubation/accelerator managers, investors, state agencies, mentors, advisors, academics, social entrepreneurs and working space providers.
They need you to tell them what you would like from Startup Ireland? Where can they add most value?
