What is the Pitch?
The Pitch will once again travel to England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, but for the first time we'll be bringing the four countries together for an exciting two-day event.
Over the summer, teams of local judges will shortlist 80 finalists, 20 from each country. Those finalists will be revealed at special events in London, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Belfast. After that, The Pitch 80 will then compete at The Pitch Live.
The Pitch Live will be a free-to-attend two-day conference in Liverpool in October. The Pitch 80 will be whittled down to four national winners and 16 wildcard contestants. The four winners will get a guaranteed place at The Pitch Grand Final in November, while the 16 wildcards will compete for votes over social media to secure the last place at the final.
The Pitch Live will not only include the pitching sessions, but also a variety of interactive workshops, entrepreneur interviews and specialist training sessions. The aim of the event aims to support, inspire and encourage the next generation of UK business success stories.
We’ll keep you posted about all of the The Pitch Live news during the coming months, including details of speakers, judges and workshops.
