Can you help with the Maynooth survey

Innovation Value Institute logo

The Innovation Value Institute (IVI), at NUI Maynooth, is currently undertaking research into the use of Internet-related technology by small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs).  More specifically, this research is interested in the adoption of cloud computing technologies amongst firms in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Consequently, IVI is interested in the views and opinions of business owner-managers on this issue.

We are contacting you because we believe your business can offer an invaluable insight into firms’ experiences in relation to internet and cloud technology adoption.  In particular the level of awareness / understanding / the reasons for deciding to adopt (or otherwise) and the subsequent impact of the technology on your business would be invaluable.  This research takes the form of an online questionnaire which can be found at the following link

We would very much appreciate if you could devote some time (approximately 10-15 minutes) to completing and submitting this questionnaire.   I would also very much appreciate your co-operation in completing this by Friday May 4th 2012.

Once the research has been completed, IVI will be able to provide comparisons between firms' experiences at a sectoral level.  This will enable IVI to start building a generic roadmap to help firms like yours make more informed decisions concerning the adoption of appropriate cloud technologies.

Although we will ask you for some details concerning the nature of your business all responses will be treated as confidential in nature.  Any information you provide will be anonymised as part of the research output, so no links can be made between the research findings and any one particular firm.  Once the research is complete we will notify you in an email with a link back to our website ( where you can read the key findings.
