Anti-Hate tool launches at Connector tomorrow

A free tool to combat online homophobia and hate speech will be launched by award-winning innovation studio Connector tomorrow, Monday, 19th June, at 9.30am.

The #LoveWins tool will help filter homophobic and transphobic content online.

To coincide with the launch of the tool, Connector will highlight statistics on the level of online bullying and harassment experienced by members of the LGBT+ community.

Commenting in advance of tomorrow’s launch, Ivan Adriel, Connector’s Head of Digital, said: “Connector is a proud supporter of the LGBT community and, this Pride, we wanted to do something to help make the internet a better place for us all. So we created the tool we wished had existed when we were teenagers searching for our identity online.”

Full details of the #LoveWins tool will be available tomorrow from 9.30am.
