Second Annual Inner City Enterprise Awards

The second annual Inner City Enterprise Awards, sponsored by Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard, will be presented on Thursday 11th May in the Old Jameson Distillery in Dublin.  Nine short-listed entrants from Dublin’s inner city have been selected in three categories for the 2017 awards.  The categories are Best Female, Best Male and Best Newcomer. The annual awards are organised by Inner City Enterprise (ICE), a not-for-profit organisation, established to advise and assist unemployed people in Dublin’s inner city to set up their own businesses or to create direct self-employment.

The ICE Awards, which are also supported by KPMG and AL Goodbody, are open to all Inner City Enterprise clients who currently own, control and manage their own business.  To avail of assistance from ICE, a client must either be an inner-city resident or planning to locate a business in the Dublin 1, 2, 3, 4 or parts of 7, 8 or 9 postal areas.  ICE provides individual business advice and support, as well as access to a panel of voluntary business advisors, specialised training workshops and also micro loan finance if needed.  The shortlisted entries for the 2017 awards are:

We are delighted with the short-list we have for this year’s awards. The nine individuals selected are a true reflection of the work of ICE, but also of the determination, creativity and truly positive mind-set of the finalists. Irrespective of the outcome on the night, they are all winners.”
