Career Zoo to Release Survey of Tech Professionals’ Workplace Preferences

The results of a survey on the workplace preferences of tech professionals will be released by Career Zoo at 10am tomorrow, Wednesday, 28th September.

Career Zoo is Ireland’s premier career networking event, taking place twice each year at The Convention Centre Dublin. The next Career Zoo takes place onSaturday, 15th October.

To coincide with the launch of the October event, Career Zoo will release survey findings tomorrow covering topics such as:

· The extent to which tech professionals plan to changes jobs in the coming years.

· What factors attract tech professionals to work with different employers.

· Whether they feel external developments such as Brexit and the recent Apple ruling will impact on their careers.

Speaking in advance of the launch, Jackie Slattery, Director of Career Zoo, said: “Tech is one of the most important sectors driving Ireland’s economic growth, and there is an ongoing focus in the sector on the need to attract and retain skilled employees.

“Our survey was targeted at experienced tech professionals, and is aimed at revealing what makes them tick when it comes to work. The results we’re releasing tomorrow should be of great interest to tech employers and to all those currently engaged in the ‘war for talent’ across multiple economic sectors.”

Mary Mitchell O’Connor TD, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, will officially launch Career Zoo (closed event) and photographs will be issued to all photo-desks at 10am tomorrow.
