Google Glass stops production in 3 days time

Google announces it is stopping the Google Glass Explorer's program andstopping production of the Google Glass in its current form.
On its Google + page it stated “Google X” incubator labs and become a separate division under current manager Ivy Ross.
The company said that the Glass Explorer programme, which closes in 3 days time, was “a kind of ‘open beta’ to test the market and get response.
It also said “As we look to the road ahead, we realise that we’ve outgrown the lab and so we’re officially “graduating” from Google[x] to be our own team here at Google,” the release stated. “In the meantime, we’re continuing to build for the future, and y: “You’ll start to see future versions of Glass when they’re ready.”
The company has given no specific date for when the next version of Glass might be available.
