Startup Education is now Education Entrepreneurs

Startup Education is now Education Entrepreneurs: New name, same awesome community

Since 2010, Startup Education has been developing programming to support a global community specifically focused on leveraging entrepreneurship to improve education outcomes. However, in the past year alone, they’ve experienced exponential growth: in 2013 there were 12 events in 2 continents, and this year there will be 75 events in 6 continents. Recognizing that education entrepreneurs face unique problems that require unique solutions, they've focused their energies on increasing the quality and range of the offerings to ensure entrepreneurs feel supported at every stage of their journey.

Centering on Startup Weekend Education, a 54-hour experiential learning event, Education Entrepreneurs can also take advantage of education-specific reading lists, bootcamps, meetups, resources, and a global network of Community Leaders, who specialize in education innovation.

Originally called Startup Education, they are now renaming this community to describe exactly what it is: Education Entrepreneurs. Clear, to-the-point, and representative of the specific type of entrepreneur we serve, we are excited to move forward with this name and highlight the ways you can benefit from being a part of Education Entrepreneurs.
