Friday Night Mashup - Culture Tech Derry

Friday Night Mashup host their special CultureTECHevent on Thursday 18th September. The event takes place in Derry-Londonderry at 80/81 Ebrington – and includes an elite lineup of speakers, startups and live music from across the globe. Maybe you missed them at Leeds, Reading or T In The Park? Little Matador, a new project from Snow Patrol guitarist Nathan Connolly, headline the Friday Night Mashup music bill and are joined by Oh Volcano (brothers Owen & Enda who previously had massive success as General Fiasco), Seven Summits and Barney. Yes; you get to see these 4 awesome bands absolutely free.



Speakers

Having worked with both global brands and startups, these 3 international speakers bring a wealth of experience, advice and inspiration to the stage. JonMichael "JB" Bukosky(Los Angeles) is a specialist in emerging media technologies, advising United Entertainment and being digital advisor for Public Enemy alongside many major record labels and studios. Becky Wang (New York) has a diverse background in agency, strategy and innovation and sits on both technology startup and venture capital advisory boards. With a successful history in startups, Peter Johnston (London) is a global creative strategist for Google, helping some of the world’s biggest brands utilize search, Youtube, maps and more.



Startups

Get to meet, mix and sample some amazing Irish startups including Ruach Music who had recent Kickstarter success for his cajon ‘drum in a box’, App Attic who’s team have over 1,000 apps on the app store to date, PerformaSports – an app that is changing how sports teams analyze their game - and Glistrr who simplify event checkins. Last, but not least we have Limejar, a really exciting software product to help children with Autism
