The National College of Art and Design (NCAD) will announce full details of its 2014 season of exhibitions tomorrow, Thursday, 8th May, at the NCAD campus, 100 Thomas Street, Dublin 8, at 1pm.
At the launch, Professor Declan McGonagle, NCAD’s Director, will outline how five different exhibitions will take place at NCAD over the coming three months. He will highlight key themes being covered in the 2014 exhibitions, as well as how the work being produced by the current crop of NCAD students is engaging with our society, our culture and the economy. “The season of exhibitions is an opportunity for us to showcase the incredible work of our students and graduating classes,” he said. “This year, we have some truly innovative and thought-provoking projects.”
Professor Alex Milton, Head of Design at NCAD, will also be in attendance and will highlight how the work created by this year’s graduating students is striving to address global challenges.
