The Board of the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival (JDIFF) has today (06.11.13) announced the appointment of a new Marketing Manager and PR consultancy.
Colm Ó Riagáin joins the Festival as Marketing Manager. He has over 10 years’ experience working in brand communications, PR and digital for FMCG brands. He has previously worked with Wilson Hartnell, Zamano, Slattery Communications, O’Leary PR, HMV Ireland, The O’Brien Press and Warner Music. Colm holds a Diploma in Public Relations from the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.
Meanwhile, DHR Communications has been selected to provide PR services for JDIFF 2014. The Dublin-based firm specialises in providing integrated PR supports to clients, encompassing media relations, public affairs, consultation and project management. Current clients include the Digital Hub Development Agency, Irish Aid at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, and the National College of Art and Design.
Commenting on the appointments, Gaby Smyth, Chairman of the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival, said:

Colm Ó Riagáin, Marketing Manager for JDIFF, further added:

The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival comprises over 130 films in 11 days in February annually in cinemas and other venues in Dublin. The Festival collaborates on film projects with partners, distributors and venues. 2014’s festival will take place between 13th and 23rd February.
