PropelAD launches smart advertising for SMB's

Dublin, Ireland based start up PropelAd is about to launch its smart advertising
service for e-commerce SMB’s, initially on the Shopify platform at the Dublin
Web Summit.

Backed by Telefonica’s Wayra, Enterprise Ireland and Target Ventures the
startup is one year in the making.

The company is tackling a common problem facing SMB’s – overcoming the
clunky, and overly technical steps required to pull together their store, their
stock and the ads platform. The challenge to do this often results in bad
advertising or no advertising at all. “Even setting up an audience looks more like
doing a tax return to most marketers – it’s just too much admin,” said company
CEO and co-founder, Charlie Ardagh.

“Non technical and novice marketers still want to get great results with digital
advertising, but don’t want to have to learn the skills or pay an agency to do it”,
he stated.

PropelAd makes advertising products on Facebook as easy as sending a picture
from your phone. Unlike standard ads it tracks all the way to the check out so
customers can count Sales, and not just Likes.

"PropelAd's product is consistent with our efforts to reduce the friction for
advertisers to successfully run campaigns and see the return on their
investment." said Sachin Monga, who manages SMB technology partnerships at
Facebook "We are delighted to be launching at this world class event in our home town.

It was a great opportunity to demo our product at the Dublin Beta event during the
Summit to an amazing mix of people” concluded Charlie Ardagh.
