foodpanda group launches in Czech Republic and acquires next competitor in Brazil




Leading global food delivery service rolls out services in Eastern Europe with launch in Czech Republic and simultaneously acquires competitor MegaMenu in Brazil

From today, the services of foodpanda will be available in the Czech Republic. Customers will be able to place orders on the websitewww.foodpanda.cz and benefit from delivery services in the Prague area. foodpanda therefore targets over 3 billion people in 28 countries across 5 continents.

In Brazil, where foodpanda operates under the brand name hellofood, the company today announces the takeover of MegaMenu (megamenu.com.br). The operations of MegaMenu are centered in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil’s second largest metropolitan area. MegaMenu’s 200 restaurants and 4,000 users will be integrated into www.hellofood.com.br.
