PMI Ireland passes its 1000th member

Today the Ireland Chapter of the PMI (Project Management Institute) passed the 1000th member
milestone for the first time.

Colum Horgan, President of the Ireland Chapter of PMI, welcomed the 1000th member of the
chapter, Fergus Ó’Cuanacháin of Solas. Horgan said “I am delighted to welcome Fergus today as the 1000th member of the chapter. Our membership has grown strongly over the last couple of years. This growth reflects the increased stature of the project management profession. Today, organisations in Ireland have a much greater appreciation of how effective project management drives business results.”

Horgan paid tribute to chapter volunteers: “The Ireland Chapter of PMI is a member driven organization. The strong growth in the membership is a result of the great development work of the volunteer officers and committee members”
