Bloggers International
Kildare, Laois, Carlow, Kilkenny Bloggers group, the KLCK, are looking forward to a major event that they have planned for the 29th June. The Bloggers International Blogging Clinic will give Bloggers in Ireland, the U.K and all over the world a chance to meet and discuss all aspects of Blogging.
The Irish event will take place at 7.30pm on the 29th June at exactly the same time as the UK version of the event in Chipping Norton in England. A live video link between the two events will mean bloggers at both locations can share knowledge with each other. The Irish event will take place in The Heritage Hotel in Portlaoise, Co. Laois, as that month KLCK are in Co. Laois.
The main focus of the event will be a Blogging Clinic where people can ask questions to a panel of seasoned Bloggers. Attendees can submit their questions online at www.bloggersinternational.com or by Tweeting them to @bloggersint2011 or by posting questions on the Facebook page www.facebook.com/BloggersInternational. The panel will answer many questions on the night which will be posted live to Twitter and Facebook so that those not able to attend in person can follow the event. The Twitter hashtag is #bi11. Answers will also be posted on the website which will continue to serve as a repository of blogging related information long after the event. In the spirit of Blogging, the event organisers hope that attendees on the night will also contribute and provide feedback and offer their own knowledge and information.
The Blogging Clinic will be of interest to both Business Bloggers and Personal Bloggers and even those that don’t blog at all. Niall Devitt of the Business Blog Bloggertone.com will be on the panel to answer questions about how businesses can use blogging and social media to engage with their customers, while Marie Ennis O’Connor from the popular blog Journeying Beyond Breast Cancer and secretary of Europa Donna Ireland, the Irish Breast Cancer Campaign, will be available to discuss personal blogging and specialist blogging.
Other Bloggers on the Irish Panel include Amanda Webb of Spiderworking.com and Beatrice Whelan of Website Extraordinaire. The English panel includes Shaun Fagan of Black Dog New Media and Chris Hogan of OxCopy. Head of Communications on the night will be Lorna Sixsmith of Garrendenny Lane Interiors who will be ask the panel questions that come in via Twitter and Facebook.
