Well yes it seems it has been. We did not get the magazine off the ground due to worsening economy and a general feeling that people did not want to advertise or at least spend money on advertising in a slump.
We accepted this and decided that we would stop, regroup and see what the future would bring, from an economic and technology front. I think it is fair to say that after a long while of soul searching we have decided to put this idea on hold. Even though I think it is fair to say that everyone who heard about the idea, really loved it and thought that it would be useful and beneficial to the startup community across Ireland.
So what is the future for us, well we are going to go back to the roots of what we wanted to do - look at the startups, meet them and help them get their message out.
We may change what we were and become something entirely but whatever we will become we will work to shape Ireland as the European Silicon Valley of Europe.
